Todd is a multi-licensed Independent Financial Professional
who has been serving Polk and Highlands Counties for 34 years. Although he is sure of his career now, he didn't always know what he wanted to do. He graduated from Warner University in 1989 with a B.A. in Physical Education minoring in Biological Science. After graduation, Todd taught middle school biology (Biology has always been a huge interest for Todd and something he has been able to share with his own children and grandchildren through the years). But, as his parents were aging, Todd found himself helping them make financial decisions that personally suited them. He quickly realized this was something he loved doing . . . helping Seniors, just like his parents, protect their saved money. He started pursuing this career path in 1992 and never looked back.

Rhett
Pooley
Financial Professional
Rhett graduated from Polk State College on a full academic scholarship in March 2019. He earned his B.A. in Business focusing on Finance. Rhett married his lifelong friend and love, Samantha Franks on March 30, 2019. After his graduation and wedding, Rhett began working at Streamsong Golf Club as an Assistant Pro until his Dad hired him at Retirement Solutions on January 1, 2020. Rhett was licensed with the Florida Department of Financial Services in 2021 and has been working alongside his Dad now for over 6 years. Rhett and Samantha have two boys; Loston (3) and Rowen (born Nov. 12th).

Samantha

Sam graduated from the University of South Florida in 2018 with her Masters Degree in Social Work. After graduation, she began her career in the Lake Wales Charter School System as a School Social Worker. Only a few months later, Sam and Rhett married on March 30, 2019. Two years into her social work job, Sam transitioned into the classroom to become a 5th grade teacher and loved it! She taught at Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary School for the next five years. Although it was a tough decision to leave a job she loved so much, Sam wanted more flexibility in her schedule as a mother and Retirement Solutions needed her gifts of organization and personal connection with our clients. In the summer of 2025, Sam joined
our team and we are thrilled! Sam and Rhett have two boys; Loston (3) and Rowen (born Nov. 12th).
Samantha
Gunton
Sam graduated from Polk State College with her Bachelor's Degree and dedicated the past 5 years teaching 5th graders at Frostproof Ben Hill Griffin Elementary and at Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary. Sam was able to build meaningful relationships with students, families and colleagues while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Her dedication, reliability, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable member of any team. Sam recently made the decision to transition from education into our family-centered work environment, providing greater flexibility for her family. She is excited to continue serving and supporting others. Samantha is engaged to Clay, and together they welcomed their son, Bentley, on September 8, 2025.
Rachel

Office Manager
Rachel graduated from Warner University in 1992 with a B.A. in Communication Arts and an A.A. in Business Administration. She worked for 5 years as a graphic designer and administrative assistant until their children were born. Rachel decided to be a stay-at-home mom. For 22 years, she raised their 2 children while volunteering in multiple capacities in their schools. She specifically served with the PTO while her children were in elementary school and then served with the athletic booster club while they were in middle and senior high school. Rachel has also helped to organize and serve in the worship ministry at HighPoint Church in Lake Wales for the past 29 years. Currently, she is the Worship Director at HighPoint Church and our Office Manager at Retirement Solutions.
